{ Panorama Viewer Japan }

The Panorama Viewer shows four 360° panoramas, created by my brother during his stay in Japan (see Photo Journal Japan). In addition to the 'Panorama View' the application also features a 'Location View', which shows the positions of where the panorama are photographed. The navigation is designed to make it easy to switch between 'Panorama View' and 'Location View'.

The panoramas are visualized using the Papervision3D library and the Google Maps API for Flash is used for indicating the locations. I had already investigated the potential of the API and I came to the conclusion that using it would benefit this application.

This project I used mainly to summarize the new found knowledge from the second schoolyear in a project: object-oriented programming, garbage collection, optimization using preloaders and working with Papervision3D and Bulkloader Libraries.
